In the analysis of gear carburizing, nitriding, and common carbonitriding, the carburizing deformation is large, and the change law is random, which is not easy to control. In addition, the strength of the roof is greatly improved after carburizing, but the surface compressive stress is small. It is necessary to increase the shot peening process, which increases the surface stress of the workpiece, which often causes micro-cracks on the surface and reduces the accuracy of the tooth surface; the advantage of nitriding treatment is that the surface compressive stress is large, good, and the deformation is small. Low capacity, brittle fatigue strength is not as high as carburizing; ordinary carbonitriding is prone to black structure, the performance of the whole material deteriorates, and the use is limited.After a variety of process comparisons, a high-temperature carburizing process, direct quenching process after medium carbonitriding, is used to heat the gears, and the effect is good.The gear deformation is reduced, the common normal deformation is also reduced, the tolerance is basically stable within, the part cycle is significantly shortened, the cost is saved, and the heat treatment material performance is good, which meets the design requirements.
