Installation, maintenance and precautions of drum gear coupling
Drum type gear couplingThe maintenance is generally carried out according to the following methods:
1. Check the gear tooth surface meshing of the coupling. The contact area is not less than 50% along the tooth height and not less than 70% along the tooth width. The tooth surface must not be severely corroded, worn or cracked.
2. The full circle runout of the outer gear ring of the coupling is not more than 0.03mm, and the end circle runout is not more than 0.02mm.
3. When reinstalling the intermediate tube or other parts, it should be assembled according to the original markings and data.
4. Tighten the bolts evenly with a torque wrench.
5. If you need to remove the gear ring, use tools and don't knock, so as to avoid bending or damage to the shaft. When reinstalling, heat the ring gear to about 200°C before installing it on the shaft. The interference between the outer gear ring and the shaft is generally 0.01~0.03mm.
Pay attention to the installation of the drum gear coupling:
If it is replaced on the original equipment, it should generally be the same as the original direction. If it is a newly designed and manufactured equipment, it should not interfere with other surrounding parts, and the more the inner and outer teeth are combined. Principle installation.
How to distinguish between true and false couplings:
To carefully check the material of the coupling: the more commonly used materials for the coupling are phenolic plastic, nylon, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc. However, most of the couplings are made of steel, but because the price of steel has been high now, some profiteers have made great efforts in the raw materials of the couplings!Decrease the model of steel to recharge!Use ordinary steel, carbon steel, malleable steel and other materials, and even more use iron pipes instead of steel products. Therefore, it can be seen from the appearance of the coupling that there are many differences in color. The appearance of these steels is mostly whitish and there is a clear difference from the greenish color of bearing steel.
